Terms used in the calendar which require some explanation are as follows:
All other terms such as newsclippings, should be self-evident.
The item numbers given in the left hand column of the calendar are those assigned by the HBLL staff; those used by the DPL in filming, some of which are marked on the original manuscripts, are in a column on the right side of the calendar form. The latter were included for the convenience of the researcher.
If the place a letter originated from or an interview was conducted was implied, such as when referece was made to "Camp's home", or suspected, it was given in brakets with a question mark. The same is true for any information supplied by the processor that was of questionalbe validity.
The source for the calendar was inventory prepared by the staff of the DPL, and the film itself. The calendar was prepared to correct the errors in the inventory.
